Flood Middle School honor graduate and 14-year old Stratford resident Tylerroxx, aka Tyler Madison Holloway, will open for Grammy Award winner Cee Knowledge of the Digable Planets on Saturday, March 30 at 8 p.m. at Bar 13, 35 East 13th Street (University Avenue), New York City.

At Flood Middle School, Holloway was a member of the select choir and chorus for seventh and eighth grade. She also played in the band at Chapel Street School for two years. She currently is a freshman at Intradistrict magnet Coop School for the Arts in New Haven. She was taken under the wing of music-industry icon Heather Holley, who has been profiled in television specials, including VH1’s “Driven: Christina Aguilera,” and is best known for her production and launching of Christina Aguilera’s career. “You know it when you see it! You feel it when you hear it! Tylerroxx has the total package — the extraordinary vocal power of Christina; the beauty of Beyonce; and her own unique flair that’s sure to make her the next Pop Princess. I’m so excited to be a part of her team and her dream!,” said Holley.

Tylerroxx commenced her vocal and dance career at the Stratford Performing Arts Academy, under the direction of vocal coaches Pete and Debra Maida and Company Director Julie Braziel. She will perform her self-written pop song, Popularge!, which was produced by Heather Holley along with her dance hits Up My Sound and Unfriend Her! Her music may be heard at reverbnation.com/tylerholloway.
